Title: Heart Made of Steel
"Heart Made of Steel" combines Terry Robb's acoustic blues and ragtime guitar playing with tight jazz horn arrangements resulting in a phenomenal recording. From the opening refrain of 'Home Improvement', a big band blues sound driven by Terry's acoustic guitar powers through clean, tight and elegant. Terry's pre-war acoustic blues sound is still unmistakable in 'Drag in F'. 'Cypress Inn Stomp', the jump/bounce - blues based 'Omaha Bounce', and 'Enron Blues' showcase Terry's masterful guitar playing. The Stax influenced 'Down and Out' extends the feel of this record stylistically, but the horn arrangements and Terry's brilliant guitar playing pull the sound together for a unique, sophisticated but fun recording. - Burnside Records

Title: Stop This World
On "Stop This World", Terry's second Burnside release, he's joined by his long-time cohort, Curtis Salgado (Robert Cray Band, Roomful of Blues), as well as premier blues guitarist Eddy Clearwater & gifted vocalist Maria Muldaur. "Robb knows how to leave space, giving a song room to breathe and live, and how to animate an arrangement with the galvanic tickle of sly, understated guitar wizardry. He's managed to take inspiration from great acoustic blues players and update it with his flawless technique, while never losing the soul and propulsion of the blues".

Title: The John Fahey Christmas Album
This gifted guitarist possesses a remarkable blend of power and delicacy, and an unparalleled ear for the beauty of music both ancient and new. On this lovely collection, Fahey (accompanied by piano and cello) takes listeners on a tour that spans different cultures (Ireland and Spain, to name but two) and eras. Blending older sanctified music such as "Angels from the Realms of Glory" and "Mary Had a Baby" with thematically related pieces such as "Lo How a Rose E'er Blooms," Fahey captures the spirit of December 25th. --David Sprague
Artist: Bill Rhoades and Alan Hager
Title: Runnin' and Ramblin'
Produced by Terry Robb, "Runnin' & Ramblin'' is authentic traditional acoustic blues rendered by musicians who resonate the very essence of the blues. The intermingling of Bill Rhoades' harp and Alan Hager's guitar is what this record is all about. Just plain simple country blues played with all of the emotion and fervor that inspired the music back in its creation in the 1920's. In addition to traditional blues songs such as "John Henry," and "See That My Grave Is Kept Clean," Runnin' & Ramblin’ also features original compositions by both Bill and Alan including Alan Hager's title track, "I'll Show You How," and Bill Rhoades "Blue Collar Worker."

Artist: Sheila Wilcoxson
Title: Backwater Blues
*guest appearances by Terry Robb (also as producer) & Curtis Salgado.
Sheila's blend of Delta blues vocals & colorful descriptions of stories from the heart brings you a powerful and enticing vein of Northwestern blues. Powerful covers of Hoyt Axton's "Sweet Misery" & accapella versions of Leadbelly's "Looky Looky Yonder/ Black Betty". Throughout the album, the music is amazing, but what brings it all home is Sheila's penetrating vocals. "Blessed with a stunning four-octave range, she blends sweetness with the soulful feel of classic blues divas. On this acoustic album she nimbly moves from deep-voiced gospel to sexy torch songs." - Art Levine, U.S. News & World Report
