Terry Robb Returns to Britt Festival Guitar Weekend

Terry Robb joins the faculty of the 2018 Britt Festival Guitar Weekend, held in Medford, Ore. June 22-24. Terry will be teaching a workshop on Ragtime Blues Guitar, examining the styles of Blind Blake, Gary Davis and other Ragtime guitarists through traditional chord progressions and fingerstyle techniques. The workshop will also delve into the alternating thumb work of musicians like John Hurt and how this technique was used by players like Merle Travis. 

Guitar Weekend, an education program of the Britt Music & Arts Festival, is a three-day exploration of guitar styles and techniques of flamenco, Americana, finger style, classical, jazz, blues and improvisation, culminating in the Britt Guitar Faculty Concert by seven virtuoso teachers.  The program is open to all guitarists who are interested in expanding their knowledge of the guitar through the exploration of different styles and genres.
